Simsbury is located approximately 12 miles northwest of Hartford and is one of the Capitol Region’s most desirable residential communities.  With a population of 24,500, Simsbury has preserved the charm of a small New England town while moving forward to provide citizens with outstanding educational, cultural, and recreational facilities.  Simsbury truly embodies the best attributes of a quintessential New England town.

Recently, Simsbury was ranked by Money magazine as one of the nation’s best 100 towns in which to live. Simsbury is listed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as one its “Dozen Distinctive Destinations.”  Plus, in 2013, Connecticut Magazine ranked Simsbury as number one in towns with similar home prices.

The Simsbury ABC program exists because of the many individuals and organizations that so generously support the programs.  Since the program opened in 1973, the Simsbury community has welcomed the ABC students.
